Have you seen the February issue of Downeast Magazine?!

What a fantastic issue!! Acadia's 25 Winter Thrills!  So many of our guests want to know what it is like in the winter!  It has amazing pictures and great commentary!  The article is titled, "Acadia in Winter"  "The East Coast's Only National Park Boasts Some Of The Country's Best Nordic Skiing, Snowshoeing And Sightseeing - And Best of All, You'll {Almost} Have It All To Yourself."  The snow, the trees, the clouds, the water, the ice flows, they will take your breath away!  Sea and mountain views have made our island  famous  do not disappear with the tourists.  The amazing scenery attracting millions to the island every summer, is here year round.  The winter's ice, snow and white capped bays add to the beauty!  Downeast suggests winter camping at Blackwoods and ice climbing on Otter Cliffs!  The scenic flights must be breath taking! In the winter the carriage trails are perfect for snowshoeing!  I have almost worn my issue out!  Downeast has always been one of my favorite magazines for the inn.  I hope you will pick up an issue and enjoy it yourself!
